Is it appropriate to use an image of Hitler in your sig?

no really,

I think his response was aimed at your assertion that he "obviously" didn't understand what Hitler stood for that prompted him to write what he did.

I fully understand that you feel his issue with my350z.com was petty and that using an image of Hitler was overkill, but I think it is a bit presumptious of you to infer one way or the other how his grandparents would feel about the actions he took. I agree that you have every right to be offended and insulted, but you don't have the authority to speak on behalf of people you don't even know.

At any rate, to both of you (and anyone else that reads this), this is not a pissing match. This is a discussion about the relative appropriateness of various images/icons/whatever and a specific discussion about the image that wicky posted.

I gotta say that, by the same argument that you use to defend religion (which I mostly agree with, by the way), the same can be said for Hitler. How many people did Hitler actually kill versus how many "his followers" killed in his name?

Just food for thought...

Now there has been plenty of wars that Religion plays a direct roll in....I am not a or your history teach go find one

And about your question of cotroling god/gods/people controling...its not either or....its more then just yes or no...

Im not gonna answer any more of your question, it will end up in a who believes in what argument...

Oh really? What do you think 'The war on terrorism' is about? It may not be about religion from one side but it sure as hell is from the other.
