This may have just been with me, but back when I use to buy Arco, I'd notice my gas tanks wouldn't give me as many miles before I had to fill up again. Doesn't make sense, but this is my own observation. Most of the time I'd get 20 miles less per a tank.

I don't use ARCO because they don't accept credit cards, I use Citi Mastercard for 5% rebate on Gasoline and 5% of $3 is 15 cents a gallon.
My references:
1.Shell (lowest price most of the time)
2.Chevron (high quality and good price)
3. Mobil, Texaco, 76 ...
