Yeah but what if you quickly covered the camera up??? Then went to work with it? Better yet, what if the Camera maintenance guy is the guy who installed these devices???

One of NCR's ATM security news, this is a bit old now. A security scam discovered in South Americas region first. Organized crime used such techniques to create "fake/rebirth" cards to obtain the card information required from the card reader and the camera pointing to the keypad which has a wireless antenna will beam the pin information straight thru to a laptop/recording device at a nearby location. Flawless until discovered, security risk now = 0.
