The report estimated around 120,000 men aged 30-50 were impotent because of smoking.

We have warning pictures on all cigarette packages in Canada. Here's one.

Plus it's gross.

That's odd, I smoked for years and certainly don't have any impotence problems.

That study's findings are believable and have been suggested by other studies in the past.

However, that having been said, this article doesn't do a very good job of instilling faith in this particular study. It quotes a lot of absolute numbers with no mention of the sample size. 120,000 men between 30-50 were impotent from smoking, but out of how many men? Without knowing that, it's a meaningless figure. It also uses the phrase "linked to" on several occasions, which suggests association and speculation, rather than causation. IMO, I can believe that smoking causes reproductive harm, but not because of this study alone.

I like your Canada warning!!! Wonder if it would work down here?? I know it is gross. That has been my one and only turn off, is someone who smokes. So guess who I am dating now? Yup, you guessed it :sigh: Not quite sure how he snuck in under the radar. He's on this board so I have to be nice in case he sees this
