Default Auto Insurance Experts - A question

Somebody hit my Civic while it was parked. I didn't see it and there wasn't a note.
Is this a comprehensive claim? Will it affect my rates?

Did you file a police report as a hit and run? If you did you should be covered with no deductible. We had that happen and everything was covered, without the police report you may have to pay your deductible. It shouldn't affect your rates.

It'll still be a collision claim, not comprehensive, since it was hit by another car. I don't believe it'll raise your insurance rates (not 100% sure) but I'd suspect you do still need to pay the deductible, unless your insurance provider has special provisions for hit-and-runs (none of mine ever have).
