I've never tried that particular lure, but I honestly can't see it being that much more effective than a decent spinnerbait or Rapala... Lure effectiveness probably depends more on daily conditions and what the fish at the lake are used to eating than anything else anyway, right? I had a plastic crawfish that made a killing of the largemouth bass out in the Midwest, but I haven't barely caught anything with it over many years in California.
supposedly this lure mimics an injured or dying fish which, according to the infomercial, greatly appeals to the instincts of bigger fishes. i was just curious cuz if it really works, then i wouldn't mind adding this lure to my tackle box.
Most lures on the market imitate a dying or distressed creature of some sort, it just depends on what the fish want that day. Flies imitate a bug in transition from water dweller to air dweller, usually only working well during or around the hatch.
