Default Barack Obama

http://www.bild.de/BILD/news/bild-english/...-in-berlin.html

A reporter that worked out with Barack Obama says he did 30 reps with 16 kg dumbbells (35 lbs per side) and then 10 reps with 32 kg dumbbells (70.4 lbs per side).

I have to say she was either talking about barbell weights (two hands used to lift) or else she is clueless about what weights he picked up.

I don't think a guy of his size could curl 70 lbs per side, especially for ten reps. Heck, 30 reps with 35 lbs is pretty impressive. That's a ton of weight for curls by someone that's definitely not heavily muscled. A lot of fit, well-muscled guys would have trouble doing that kind of weight for that many reps.

What says OT?

Agreed. He would likely be much bigger if hes curling 70 lb weights

Sounds like there were actually three types of dumbbells, the 35 pound, the 70 pound and the female reporter.

Maybe she misread the weights: oz instead of kg. It's a common enough mistake.
