Is this a coincidence or is it life imitates arts? I hope he does not end up getting shot like David Palmer did in 24.

 

If that happened to Obama, this country would go into a riot. The economy would spiral out of control too.

Obama is sooooo not even close to even a pimple on Palmers ass, so:

 

24 is to the real world as "9th Wonders" is to the Heroes world.

 

I seriously doubt the country would go into a riot. In order to riot, you need somebody to riot against. Who are they going to riot against, one lone redneck? It's not like they have an "establishment" that they can riot against (like the police, or government, or an opposing basketball team or whatever).

I do however believe there would be huge economic impacts.

 

Frankly, I believe Palmer's role in 24 was essential to him being elected

 

Violence would erupt from anger all over the country. Some riots do not need a specific target and follow a specific paradigm. It's unpredictable what people will do when they're angry.
