Baseball is Ghey
[QUOTE=MikeyCB,May 23 2008, 04:51 PM] I played rep baseball for 10 years and then stopped cold turkey.
I loved playing, batted 3rd or 4th forever, and have always always hated watching it.
To be completely honest, even when it was my own team and I was on the bench for whatever reason (usually because it was a meaningless game and we decided to play some of the junk players) I had little to-no-interest in what was actually happening on the field.
I enjoy major league games only because they serve beer.

(By the way, I heard this on the Rockies broadcast of the Rox/Phils game last night on Extra Innings. The Rays are one of five other teams in the AL that are drawing better than the Yankees on the road this year.)
the rays are playing some really good baseball right now. its about time that an american league team is starting to play small ball. they are young, fast, and concentrate on putting the ball in play instead of over the fence. thats a formula that generates runs.
