Besides all these, you should expect blackouts in CA!!!Sux but that will happen frequently in the summer!!!

 

Well, I appreciate all of the input. I'm having a hard time getting my mind around the whole move concept. The company I work for is stable (not a start-up) and has a promising future. It's a really good opportunity or me to advance my career, and the job would get me all over the West (Vegas, Seattle, LA, Vegas). Pay raise should be significant, although I haven't got the details yet... and I would love to live out West. Only problem is the outrageous cost of living and the astronomical cost of housing.

I really don't want to have to rent, but it's going to be a nice trick to pull off a $600K house... Decisions, decisions.
