DC is Direct Connect, is a p2p file sharing program that has over 500terabyte being shared. chk it out at www.neo-modus.com
There is also another version of the software called DC++ which gives you more/different features. it's at http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/
You have to share files to download them in DC. Each hub will have it's own regulation as to how many slots you have to leave open for others to d/l from you and how much stuff you have to share. I'm currently sharing a little over 70GB on the network.
