I haven't said anything on the issue regarding banning or not banning to date, but this is all in all bad taste in humor.
This could be one of many people posing as Bieg:
1. If it is one of the persons who stand up for Bieg - then the individual is merely trying to state that he never left and cannot be banned. Just like an Elvis impersonator, or even someone that believes that Stevie Ray Vaughan is still alive and well in Austin, TX.
2. If it is one of the persons who is all for the banning of Bieg - then the individual is merely mocking the situation of a member (now former) being banned, and as such should be regarded to as a personal attack against that member.
3. Wildcard - who knows.
Depending on who the user is, will determine whether *I* stick around or not. And if you don't know who I am or could care less, then its not a loss at all, is it?
I'm not standing up for banning someone, or unbanning someone, that is not my call - that's Erik's call, because its his board. I would rather stick to the fun and games on the board and ignore politics, but this pushes that line a bit too close. What I am standing up for, is the respect of an individual regardless of their position on this board - favored or not, member or not.
If a decision was made to ban him, then that is done and I'm not one to contest it. But what I'm quite tired of hearing over and over is the aftermath: everyone likes to talk smack about this person and thas person when they are not here as if they up and died. I'm sure he's reading this, I'm sure he still lurks around these parts, and all in all, I believe it boils down to karma - and yours is in question, whoever you are.
Let it go, and most of all, fess up, because I'm twiddling my thumbs in what to do.
