Well, I'm not a huge fan of NASCAR, but I give it props for a couple of reasons...the main one being that driver's skill really does come into play since all the car are on such an equal footing. And secondly, NASCAR has the most spectacular crashes in all of motorsports! Hell yea, 15-20 cars all piling on top of eachother? Awesome...

At Road America, the Re/Max Series of NASCAR runs and you probably know that RA is certainly NOT an oval! It's 4 miles and I think 17 turns. It's a badass course. So not all of NASCAR is bad...sometimes they actually do turn right.

Also, don't forget that CART races are on ovals, too. I go to the Target Grand Prix every year and that is an AWESOME race...the sound of those things winding out is simply amazing. Too bad they have been stripped of the turbos this year...is that still the case? But it's no right turns either...
