France and most of the northern european countries share that dreariness. Other than that, they are all filled with intensive history. I visited Brussels when I took a trip through belgium, germany, and osterreich! :-P. Brussels was awesome and I could only compare it to Wein. It outclassed every city I saw in germany easily and I would much enjoy visiting again since I didn't get to stay for long.
