Default Best auto enthusiast magazine??

Looking for a good car mag subscription ... not just imports, but all cars, etc. Any recommendations??

Road and Track?
Car and Driver?
Autoweek?

Forget those and subscribe to a good brit magazine like "Evo" or "Car"... much better content, MUCH more cars reviewed and better overall quality.

Sport Compact Car
Euro Tuner (used to be Max Power)
Max Power UK (did it change to Euro Tuner UK?)
Super Street
Import Tuner
Honda Tuner
Turbo

Any one of these is 10 times better than reading reviews of new cars.

Each has their own positives (except Automobile which has only negatives )

Best frequent read: Autoweek because it comes every week. It's a little fluffy though. The show is even worse; they just repeat (read) the content of the magazine

Motor Trend: most of the failings of Automobile and too many trucks and jerky commentary.

Road and Track: Best of the American monthlys

Sport Compact Car: Best of the new generation BY FAR!

Brit Mags: are good but too expensive. Also include some much needed nudity for your converted pound!

Best enthusiast rag: Grassroots Motorsports which now comes out ten times a year!!!

Sports Car International is my favorite auto magazine for the following reasons:

1. High Quality Paper
2. Great Images
3. The focus is on the cars, not the advertisements/sponsors. . .

Sport Compact Car is a very good magazine and often has stuff about our cars.

lol Max Power! Affectionately known by me as "Boy Racer monthly" Gods, I must be getting old now....

Evo is a great read, as is Car - both filled with quality exotica

Top Gear has fallen out of favour with me, far too humdrum for my tastes these days

I forgot to pan Car and Driver, the spiritual predecessor of Automobile and still full of stuff you couldn't care less about unless you read your car mag for politics.

Grassroots Motorsports will send you a free copy.
