Default Best damned drive home ever!

On the way home from work today, I was merging onto Crowchild Trail (major artery for NorthWest Calgary) and I just *happened* to merge behind a DeTomaso Pantera. All the way from where I merged to where I turned off to get home, I was stuck behind the Pantera. I turned my radio off and both driver's and passenger's windows went down so I could hear some sweet italo-american love ^_^

The roar of those things under acceleration.... yummy....

Nice.. I've never seen a Pantera in person, but they are very intriguing...

Well, they are Italian designed and built cars, but they use a souped up, from-the-era Corvette V8 (early 80's). And the mufflers don't really muffle much. THey add some italian things to the engine, so it sounds like a mix between an angry corvette and a lustful italian woman. Wonderful sounding cars ^__^ Start with a grunt, and as they accelerate, it just starts to sing in a "take me faster" kinda tone
