Default Best Electric Shaver?

I've been using the Mach 3 and I like it, but sometimes I wish that I had an electric shaver for some quick shaves without the hassle of shaving cream, small nics, etc...So I was wondering what you guys/girls think is the best electric shaver out there. Heck, if the electric one is really good, I may just replace all of my manual razors! Thanks.

I use the S2000 of shavers - the Panasonic ES8068. 13,000 rpm motor! The cool thing about this one is that it is one of the "wet and dry" models. Take a shower - lather up with shaving gel and you will get an incredibly comfortable and smooth shave.

I used a Braun for years and it did a great job but the wet/dry high speed Panasonic is better.

I've been using an electric for about 15 years now. Started out with the RX-8 of shavers - a Norelco Rotary I've moved on to the other style and now use a Braun Synchro. I really like the self-cleaning system. It's great to stick the thing in there and get an almost new razor back out. It makes a huge difference.

One word of caution. I can no longer use a regular blade razor without haivng my neck look like it was a prop from Freddy vs. Jason. The bad part about this is that I must have an electric razor to shave or go through some sort of lengthy "decon" process. When traveling, if I my luggage gets lost or delayed, I'm screwed unless I carried it on.

BTW, I've read that people seem to be the most satisfied upgrading within a particular style of electric razor. In other words, if they use a rotary, they will be happiest upgrading to a newer rotary. If they use the other type - like the Braun or the Panasonic - they will be happiest upgrading to the same style.

Braun for me and I don't like those circular shavers. The straight edge ones work much better. I have tried the $150 Norelco and it's no better than my $40 Braun. Try different ones to see which fits your face countours best.
