There is no such thing as OEM Apple screen protector.

+1 | Power Support Clear Air Jacket + Crystal Film, nothing else seriously comes close.

i have the ifrogz skin. thickest film Ive seen so far, it came with the ifrogz case. I ****ed up on placing it, and after that I went through roughly 5 different films, all of them sucked! Finally found a place that sold JUST the ifrogz films, bought a pack of 5, have only used one.

spray some water lightly on the film before you try to attach it tho! it works great like tint.

I've got the Capsule Rebel from switcheasy.com too. I just used the screen protector that came with it. I love the case. I tried Colors too from switcheasy cause I like the fact in covered the edges better. But, it's sorta rubbery and it's harder to clean the screen. I want to try the anit-glare but so far the only place I've seen them is from Apple. The store is 1.5 hrs away and don't feel like pay their crazy prices.

My phone has literally been under the bus (I saw at least one fully loaded city bus pass over it) and sat for a while getting run over on the freeway until I could get out and get it. I've even dropped it from the roof onto the sidewalk. It is dropped regularly with no issues.

I have 5 iPhones and have never seen a scratched glass on any of them and we've had them since they were first introduced.

About 6 weeks after she got it my daughter pulled hers out of her purse and the glass was shattered. She doesn't remember hitting her purse on anything but she took it to Apple and they promptly replaced it. I've had ZERO issues with any of my phones.

And yes there is a factory glass protector. You may not have noticed it but it comes in the package with the phone.

Everyone I've seen with a protector ends up replacing them regularly and has the hassle of getting the bubbles out. I do no work and just enjoy my phones.

I liked the case-mate protector, but after exactly 1 year, it started to separate - the sticky part under the plastic film started bubbling.

Pisorban. Not from Apple, I've repeated.

The current 3GS has a different coated screen to reduce finger/screen marks.

But there is no such thing as a separate screen protector.

Had a total body skin from Best Skins Ever..consisted of 2 pieces, one for the front (screen) and one for the back (body).

It was a PITA to put on but adhesed well once all the bubles were worked out. Virtually the same as the Invisible Shield except cheaper because you didn't get the little spray bottle and squeegee to put on the skin.

Protected the screen and body from scratches VERY well. However, the tacky feel was a complete difference from a naked screen. Took some getting used to but kept the look of the iPhone consistent without the bulkiness of a case.

Important point, skins are for scratch resistance and do nothing for any kind of impact. Ended up dropping my iPhone on the street during transfer to a pocket (less than a 3 ft drop) and the screen completely shattered. It was like cracking a windshield, the cracking got worse and worse. Although, it was completely still functional and the skin did a good job of holding the shattered pieces in place.

On my second iPhone I ended up getting a open faced case instead of a skin...I would worry more about impact than scratches, I haven't had any scratching issues since and it's saved my iPhone from a couple of falls.
