My wife and I spent two days at the Beverly Hills Hotel, then a week at the Ahwahnee in Yosemite, then a week at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. Yosemite was perfect! We arrived on Dec. 16 and they'd had no snow, so we got to take pictures of Yosemite Valley all green without wall-to-wall tourists. Three days later it snowed two inches, so we got pictures of Yosemite Valley all white without wall-to-wall tourists. The day we left it began to snow and they got two feet. Our timing was excellent.

My wife and I went to Cancun. See the biggest misconception about Cancun is that it's all party, (which for us it was the 2nd time we went) but for our Honeymoon, we stayed at a very nice hotel (The Camino Real) and we went to areas less busy. We went to Chicen Itza, and to Xcaret and to a remote area to snorkel. We had a romantic seafood dinner at Lorenzillo's. We couldn't have asked for more.

BTW- I too recommend the Palace Resorts in Cancun. They do know how to take care of you.

Nurburgring in Germany......then tour the Porsche and BMW factories....after that a sprint on the Autobahn, and into Italy to visit the Ferrari and Lamborghini factories....now THAT is a trip to remember.

1. Cuzco, Peru.....first choice by far!!

2. Atlantis, Bahamas....a lot more money but also a terrific place

3. Fiji is absolutely awesome...and cheap as heck too!

4. If I do it again (get married) I would most likely go to Australia and New Zealand though!
