root canal wasn't too bad for me either. i was in minor pain the next day and it went away i think after about 48 hours.

wisdom teeth extraction is another freaking story. i got them pulled all 4 at the sametime and i was popping percocet for 2 weeks straight. it was not fun at all experience but percocet was awesome.

 

Wisdom teeth are nothing. I HAVE heard that the older you get, the harder it is during recovery.

 

Wat. Maybe for you. I was out of commission for like 2 weeks. Had them done in college. All 4 at once. My tops weren't horrible, but my bottom 2 were fully perpendicular to the rest of my teeth... the oral surgeon said it was the worst extraction he'd had to do in his career.
