Default Best strip club in Los Angeles?

Do any of you guys have suggestions for good strip clubs in the LA area? I have a friend coming in to town who wants to check some out, but I have no idea where to go. What do you guys think?

Any of the Spearmint Rhinos are pretty good... The Body Shop on Sunset can be good but that depends on when you go, it's pretty much hit or miss. The one to avoid is the one by LAX...

Last time I went, cover was $25 and dress code was casual (I've never been to a nudie bar that had a strict dress code, it's usually just whatever you happen to walk in in). It's expensive compared to some other places, but worth the few extra bucks if you ask me...

Disclaimer: I used to live in LA and uuummm patronized a number of the strip joints down there. But I moved in 2000 and haven't been to any of them since. So, it's possible that the quality or cover charge has changed since then.

Also, for what it's worth, I was always told that the Spearmint Rhino in Rowland Heights was the best one. But I've never personally been there. The one in LA was just fine for me (it's on Olympic and you'll see it when you're on the 10 freeway).

They've also got a website if you want more info.

Btw the Body Shop on Sunset Blvd. has a lower cover charge and used to offer a lot of discount coupons as well. Not sure if that's still true. But it's pretty close to all the bars and restaurants on Sunset. It's not as good overall as the Spearmint Rhino IMO, but it's still decent (especially on busy party nights like Friday and Saturday) and could be convenient if you guys are in the vicinity of the Sunset strip.

Isn't LA the place where lap dances are outlawed.

They were trying to add more restrictions on them here in Vegas too but I don't think any of them passed
