Default Best Way or Place to get Student Loans?

Im looking into getting a student loan. I have excellent credit and I tried through my school which was a loan place called CampusDoor. I got denied. They said all you need is like 2 lines of credit. Like rent and a cellphone would do it.

Well.. Ive got 2 credit cards (One is at $1900 Sears appliances and the other is at $400). A cell phone, rent, sh*tload of utilities!! I pay all this on time everytime every month!! My credit is excellent! Oh yeah I have a Macys card with $90 cause it saved me 30% if I got the stupid card and put her watch on it..

SOOO... What am I to do? I want to get a student loan w deferred payments to pay off these credit cards. Both cards except for the Macys are at 0%. The Macys is like 21% but I plan on paying and closing that account soon as it gets to me in the mail.

What good loan places are there? My bank told me all they can do is hand me a AES pamphlet and send me on my way. Can I get a cash loan through AES?? What are some of my options??

thanks!

I don't know how much help I can be because I don't have any student loans.

The thing that's not clear to me is why you were denied by the loan department at your school. Once you know the reason, then maybe you can do something about.

The only thing that I can think of is that perhaps your limit is too high on the credit cards. You're probably about 18 years old, and you already have $2500 in credit card debt, and possibly car payments if you're paying for the S2000 by yourself. I hate to break it to you, but you might have to cut down on your spending if you want to get approved for the loan.

Have you called up AES? Did they say that they'd be willing to give you a loan?
