Default Which credit card should I get?

I'm a college student and will be graduating in 2 year and I want to build some credit..
I have a bank of america check account..
I was wondering what is the best credit card for students..
I'm probably not gonna use it much..just once in a while and pay it right away with money from my checking account.

what do you guys recommend?

If you can get approved, go for a Continental Amex or Mastercard. It's best to start earning those miles early.

Doesn't Amex rape you with interest rates if you don't pay it off?

Amex blue. Amex builds your credit faster than any other card...however, it will pummel your credit if you are irresponsible.

^^hahahahaha^^

I'd go with one through the bank. It'll be easier to pay because you'll be able to access it and your account on the same website. I also suggest not buying consumables (gas, fast food) with your CC either. It's a real easy way bury yourself in debt w/o realizing it. Food adds up quick!

You shouldn't get yourself in that situation when you're looking to build CR. When you sign up for an AMEX account, you know ahead of time what your APR will be, so it shouldn't be a surprise.
