Default Best & Worst Financial Decisions

What are the best & worse decisions that you have made, financially, over the years?

Best: Going to school and getting an education - may seem like a bad decision financially, with rising tuition costs every year, but it's an investment into the future that will hopefully pay off.

Worst: Becoming obsessed with snowboarding. The gear is insanely expensive.

Best: Saving for retirement at an early age while being able to afford the finer things in life. Plus, I made my first stock trade in the black... though I could have stayed in a little longer and made more money (just didn't want to be greedy, just in case).

Worst: Car addiction!!!!!

Best: Investing in several pre-construction condos in Downtown Miami and Miami Beach and starting my own business.

Worst: During college, I maxed out my credit cards with no ability to pay them back except to ask my dad for help. I never got the chance to pay him back.

Worst financial decision was having children (love my daughters to death but before they were on their own they were a money pit as all children are)

Best decision was to max my contribution to various 401k programs.

When I'm president I will pass a law for mandatory pre-nups before a marriage can be finalized.

Best: (Last year) Deciding to further my education, with the hopes this will pay off in the future (and I know it will )

Worst: Getting engaged, then breaking up and getting stuck with a car I didn't want under my name (Well, I guess it worked out okay....I traded it for the S2K.... )

You're forgetting travel expenses to the mountains (whistler for me), plus lift tickets and lodging if you stay overnight.
