Again If I run my commadore 64 I won't get viruses. I mean come on! I think if your main computer isn't supporting it you need to stop being cheap and update! What anything since 2000 or so should? At what point do we start looking at people and say gee do ya think that 386 should be thrown out by now?

You expect everyone to get 64-bit before major software support. That's just not realistic!

So either you don't make software that works on Microsoft OS or you don't bother to test it? Either way then I guess you wouldn't need it.

You're correct, You bought that hyper threading processor so it will sit there and do nothing? Microsoft had that beta out there for a long time, even offered free upgrades.

Couldn't you just have your firewall block wmp files and be done with it. I mean quick fix until the hole is plugged
