Default Big Wheel Racing : Kids for life

Alright now I know I'm not alone, especially here in the S2K international forums. To be an owner of an extremely sweet sports car you need to have had strong roots growing up. Some of my absolute favorite memories come from racing Big Wheels.

My big wheel was an offshoot of Nightrider. It even had a sticker where 'kit' was supposed to be. However, my arch nemesis, Jessica had a strawberry shortcake big wheel. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't beat her around the block. That big wheel of hers was amazing!

So what were everyone else's favorite Big Wheel or similar race car of their childhood???

If you had a "kit" Big wheel, then I think you are a youngster . (where's my geezer smilie when I need it?) I think you have wisdom beyond your years.

Our races where with our bikes around the school side walk. The school was shaped like a bunch of "H"s smashed together. The sidewalk was narrow in many places and you lost if you ran into the grass. There were even a few rocky drop offs in some places. OK, so they were more like steep hills, but you got one heck of a ride if you missed the corner.

It was the closest thing to a twisty mountain road that I could get to by bike.

Man the knight rider big wheel was the greatest. It had the authentic windshield and the car like front. E-brake turns worked like a charm too!

That's pretty funny that the most common big wheel happens to be knight rider on the s2k sight. I'm telling you, we are born, not made.

Yeah, big wheels. I loved spinning those things around by pulling up on the plastic brake on the side. I remember pedaling too hard and losing traction too.
