I was over for the TT in '96, one of the most exciting motorsport events I have been to, if the number one, Mad Sunday was muckin farvellous.

that's soooo awesome.

I bet after a ride like that, nothing short of a Top Fuel dragster would excite you.

Drivers of top fuelers have a titanium & steel roll cage surrounding them, and the guardrails are parallel to their path of travel, not perpendicular to it like some of the walls at the Isle.

What also amazes me about these riders is that they have memorized a 37 mile long course. How can anyone memorize 37 miles, every bump, turn, ripple, etc. etc.??? Absolutely unbelievable.

I wasn't saying it wasn't as dangerous, I was talking about the 8G's of acceleration from 7,000hp, going 300+mph in 4 seconds would be a rush.

I'm sure there are more riders killed racing around the Isle of Man than driving a top fuel dragster.
