And you're right, an unfortunate consequence is that riders are lost too frequently at the Isle of Man. One of the reasons I've chosen not to visit. I've experienced enough blood & trauma in my career - and don't need to see it while on vacation. You really have to respect their abilities though. And those of top fuel pilots!
