so my best friend and my boyfriend's birthdays are coming up. it's a breeze shopping for the ladies in my life but i always get stumped when it comes to buying guys presents. so i need your advice...

Yep, jackets are much more expensive than your budget. However, helmets are within range. As for the gay guy with high-tech desire, I'd go for a good set of PC speakers (because I'm looking for those myself ) or decorative mirrors for his new place.

You can get him a nice set of riding gloves if he doesn't already have some. Nice jackets are well over $500 I think.
