choosing between the two is like picking between an ugly chick and a fat chick...either choice sucks.

From when I handled the storm, the touch screen was pretty cool, not as cool as the iphone, but still cool...I still would prefer my BB curve 8900 over the storm anyday, plus it already has wifi.

the G1 is also kinda cool, especially since it has the android OS. anyone and everyone can make a app for it and most of them are and can be had for free unlike the iphone. the screen is small and the keyboard is no great, esically when trying to text at night(the keyboard doesn't light up that well)but it is a dedicated flip out keyboard not a touch screen. when it's on T-Mobile's 3g network, it flys, but the battery is the first thing to go.

I know several people who own a Storm, and they regret their purchase decision. Essentially the product was rushed to the market with too many glitches. The Touch Screen is cool, but not when it's a pain in the ass. My last phone was a touch screen, and I have since gone back to a regular Blackberry. It's much less complex, and more reliable.

^Get the mytouch, its a lighter, less bulky G1. Comes with the latest Android software. My sister has one and loves it. I've played with it and the typing isn't bad for a toushscreen. I'd say hit the T Mobile store up and see if they'll let you play with one.

^^ Seems like he's trying to get a phone without a contract, otherwise I would certainly recommend the mytouch.

Otherwise, you could look into an iPhone. My bro runs jail broken 1st gen on t mobile and likes it.

Yea... if you are trying to get a phone without a contract... buy a 1st gen Iphone and unlock it.. with the 3gs out it shouldnt be too expensive for a 1st gen.. or maybe even a 3g.
