Great, We should talk sometime and get to not-know-each-other. Or would it be the opposite way around?

I've been on blind dates before and I've always chosen a lunch date first. That way it's short and you guys get a good idea of one another.

It sounds to me that you like good conversation and if it doesn't come naturally then he probably isn't right for you. Remember, on the first few dates people will be pretty nervous, so be a little lenient. If you are worried about not liking him and being trapped, you could always have a friend call your phone for an "emergency". Good luck!

I've met people like you! When a girl is doing that I like to start asking them questions!

nHobbes,
I believe that some "doctors" on this board may take offense when you group people into a category, esp. in a negative light.
Speaking from personal experience, ALOT of doctors I know are really nice, humble, & caring folks. There are jerks in all walks of life. A few bad apples should not make you bitter toward such a fine fruit.
(sorry to get off topic)
Good luck with your blind date BG101.

Want to really impress a guy?

1. Drive your S, offer to drive the whole night... (guys give extra points to gals who drive stick! )

2. Offer to split the bill... (it suggests many things a. you're fair, b. you're not a gold digger... but if he insists... let him)

3. Talk sports, drink beer, and ask if he's been following the Rangers?

just my 0.2
