I saw the show last year at the Luxor theater in Las Vegas. I know its at other venues. Is it the same show? Better elsewhere or lacking?

I've never seen them, but I've wanted to. Ppl tell me they're stupid, but I take pleasure in stupid things.

My understanding is that the shows differ slightly in different venues, but not much. I saw the vegas show as well over thanksgiving with my mom, who had seen the chicago show already. She said the vegas performance was a little more "showy", exactly what you might expect in vegas.

No matter where you see it though, its not stupid. Its pretty incredible performance art that is sure to provide a fun evening!

I read somewhere that were now about 20+ Blue Man troupes accross the country. As you might expect, results may vary.

I didn't think that there were nearly 20. According to their website, they perform in chicago, new york, boston, and vegas. There may be 20 actors, but 20 troupes?

There are several groups. The Las Vegas group is the original and the one's on the Intel commercials according to my friend. He insures one of the members. There are four in Las Vegas that rotate for the shows. They had auditions last year (specific height, weight and skills needed). I think the scariest skill is catching thirty marshmellows in your mouth and then spitting them out onto a table...

Just make sure you get PONCHO AREA seating (front rows) at the Luxor. Best view in the house and the ponchos do protect you from the paint, spit and everything else that comes flying your way. I like the toilet paper routine at the end too.

I just got back from Vegas and I did see the Blue Man show at the Luxor. I liked it. Especially the part with the rotating statues, very trippy. Did you follow just one of the three cards that they had you reading? I didn't

I loved it and had lot's of fun in Vegas, made pretty good money there too.
