Is Boeing a good place to work as software eng?
I am graduating with a computer science degree. There may be a job opportunity working for Boeing (Defense) or Disney Imagineering.
Which company should I go for? I plan to stay for a few years, atleast. I don't plan to get my masters.

Although I'm not really qualified to answer this, in a general sense I think Boeing will be a great stepping stone for whatever you plan to do in the future, rather than Disney. Boeing seems to have their hands in many places. And they're better than Airbus
My uncle is one of the lead engineers for Boeing, and from what I hear, it is a great company to work for. As stated above, I believe that it would look a lot better on a Resume than Disney...
Boeing is a great company... if you want to retire there. Early in your career you want to work in a company that is both dynamic and fast paced. Unfortunately, Boeing is neither. I have had a few friends who worked there and left within a year because raises are crappy and advancement/promotions take forever. Seniority is a big thing there too and they're a lot less likely to take new grads seriously until your 30+.
But again, it really all depends on what your looking for. What is your ideal job? Where do you see yourself in 1 year, 2 years, 3years?
For myself, I graduated Comp Sci in 2005 and I consider myself really aggressive. My first job was in the Mortgage title industry (First American) where I worked there for 1 year and after that I moved on to a credit reporting agency for under a year. Now I work as a Consultant making 6 figures.
If you need any help send me your resume and I'll see what I can do.
Goodluck!

Congruent to what Kix is saying, both companies are very old and well-entrenched, which may not be the best fit for you for coming right out of college.
If you're interested in a great place to work (Fortune Magazine says so at least), let me know.
