are u serious guys, i live in cali and everytime i get a ticket and the cop doens't have it on radar i go to court WITHOUT a lawyer and get the ticket thrown out because the officer doens't have proof i was speeding. Half the time the cop doesn't even show to court and the judge throws it out because hes not there.
Idk if cali has different rules or wat.

 

in ga just show up in court on the date on the ticket,if the judge buys you story he will drop the ticket.if he does not he will most likely drop the ticket 3-5 miles down witch could get rid of any points..i know i just went through this in sept. in byron ga.good luck..remember be at your best on court day and if your record is clean you will be ok..in ga the cop is king in traffic court.good ol boys.also in ga they dont do the traffic school to get out of the ticket for speeding.

 

you need to speak with the prosecutor when you go to court, they will probably cut you a deal especially if the officer isnt there. you could hire a lawyer but they will probably just do the same thing.

 

your own statement screwed you, so just pay the ticket and ask for an article 10:98 thats (what it is here) which is a little more expensive but it doesn't go on your driving record
