Enthralled, maybe I should clarify further. He wrote me a ticket saying I was going 70 in a 45. Orginally he said I was going 80. I'm saying it's bogus cause I wasn't going 70. I hope that clears it up. If he had wrote me for 60 or whatever then you are correct I have nothing to complain about.

like two people have said it

-hire lawyer
-show up w/o lawyer and plead not guilty

those are your 2 options to fight it. pick one.

I understand what you are saying, but if you weren't speeding in the first place, you would not have been pulled over.

I got a ticket a few years ago and the cop told me I was going 55mph in a 45mph zone, but on the ticket he wrote 65mph. anyways, my point, regardless of what the cop put on the ticket, you were still in the wrong.

no one except grandma drives the limit.
I usually stay between 7-10mph of the limit, and don't have problems

Fight it...

you have nothing to lose...

You win you get everything dropped.

you lose you prob end up in the same situation.

I just got a 40 in a 25 "pacing" speeding ticket that was dropped.

But your statement might kill you in court.

next time you get pulled over or get into any legal situation, dont say anything.
