Book boo-boos (a follow-up to Naomi's topic)
For instance, I was reading one of the Spenser books by Robert B. Parker one day, and there was a car chase. Spenser is driving a Ford Probe, and his passenger rolls down the LEFT REAR WINDOW to shoot at the other car.
Aaargh! The story screeches to a halt in my head as I yell (to myself) "Parker, you cretin, you CAN'T roll down the back windows in a Probe, THEY DON'T FREAKIN' OPEN!!!".
Does anyone else do this, or is it just me?

I've noticed this too with some Shadowrun novels I've read. In one instance the author put the wrong name. He put down the name of a girl who had just died, but meant to put down a different name.
It's a bit of a distraction, but you live with it There's quite a few inconsistencies in the Harry Potter novels. I've never really noticed them, until I read some website on them.
