Default Boycott France!

Well the French have succeeded in forcing us to go to war. They have intentionally prevented a diplomatic solution to disarming Iraq. Consequently the US, and our allies will have to do the job.

Because American lives will now be forced into battle my patriotism has been offended by the French to the same extent as by the terrorists. I'm MAD!! Having thought about it a lot, I would no more support the French economically than I would the Islamic Jihad.

Therefore, I wash my hands of everything French.

It should be pretty easy to boycott the French since I can't think of one thing I rely on them to provide for me.

that's a great stance, especially for the international community as a whole. If you don't agree with me I will boycott you! Also I don't think that all of the french people who will be hurt, significatly I'm sure, by your boycott are in agreement with their government's stance. As I am sure that not all americans are in agreement with their governments stance. You can't blame the government if our government is being just as hard headed. Try not to be so narrow minded.

Pretty much... isn't the only way we can really effect them if we stop trading or something?

Are you serious? By campaigning for a diplomatic solution and against an invasion they have "prevented a diplomatic solution"? That's some doublespeak that Orwell would be proud of. Remember everyone "war is peace" and "freedom is slavery". Onward now everyone, let's all "liberate" Iraq. It's the ultimate insult that the pro war zealots are now blaming the war on the anti-war side!

PS: I think this thread may be political
