I've always made fun of the French. More out of humour than anything else.

But I find the sentiment shared by many Americans lately with regards to France quite laughable. You speak of freedom of speech, of the right to voice your opinions, that everyone is entitled to their opinions etc, and yet when the French voice their opinion, you talk about boycotts, consider trade barriers etc.

I'm not going to say more on the subject, lest I get into a fight with someone.

They make my favorite make-up and hair products, Lancome and Loreal, but this issue is more important. It will be hard, but I will boycott the French!

It's ok wantone, just replace "French" with "Freedom" and you're good to go.

French is freedom - it's officially endorsed by congress.
