Bring Rosie Back
I honestly think that 50% of the posts for status updates were from Rosario. Frankly I'd say most of S2ki traffic comes from him. Well him and the classifieds. So with him gone web traffic is going to take a dive. It was plunging anyway, but still...
I believe a suspension would've been more appropriate than a ban. I was never personally offended by anything Rosario said, but then again I'm not easily offended. He was just a joking kind of guy, and I believe more people appreciated that than those who didn't. We're adults here and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, in fact many of us pay money to be able to post said opinion. I'm sure Rosario didn't mean to offend anyone with his posts. I vote for a Democracy ruling on this matter. We do have polls available, I think this is a prime excuse to use one.
At least now we know WHY Rosie is no longer here.
sam_spider rules are rules and rules can be changed. not everything is black and white. I'm not just talking about this particular incident either ...... this is a community, don't tear it apart. when a long standing guest and once member trys to help the community, have some leniency, step back for a second.
Thanks for reopening this thread for discussion.

The only reason I'm a member here, a paying member, is merely so I can post status updates and reply to others. Rosario is the reason I bought a membership.
I understand he's been warned before, a few times, but is a permanent ban really necessary? Seems quite excessive to me.
I said that exact thing in a status post reply before that status post was deleted. I just renewed my membership at the end of August, primarily because I enjoy posting in the status updates and I want to give back to a community that has helped me learn an infinite amount of knowledge about an amazing machine.
Just want to chime in as there is a lot of "I wasn't offended" remarks and "we are all adults" and I am sure there will be more after this post. You are not the only person on this forum. Just because you were not offended doesn't mean other people weren't. This is a community you choose to be a part of and like any community there are rules to follow. The comments which I am betting only 5% of you saw were beyond poor taste and had they been made in other settings would have resulted in a similar punishment (or possibly worse depending where they were made). As adults we all know there can be consequences to the things we say and while we are free to say them part of that is dealing with the consequences. Try thinking outside of yourself and realize comments like this can drive people away from the forum. It sucks he is gone but he is the one than made the comments (after being warned about about this) and he has to deal with the consequences.
