Rosie is sorry for offending someone, he will probably continue to offend someone...but don't we all at times. If you think Rose should be brought back to his full status please just post below.

 

This forum has rules in regards to what content is allowed to be posted, for the most part this is rarely an issue, when it does happen the comments are removed and in some cases warnings are issued so that it isn't repeated. The same rules apply to the status updates

When these terms are violated, there are consequences and in the case of Rosario it was not his first offense, or his second. Now, generally we are pretty lenient (believe it or not) about issuing warnings (or a ban) unless it is absolutely necessary. The comments made yesterday were in extreme poor taste and down right disgusting, and were serious enough that no one could defend, nor state they were only kidding. The comments made were inexcusable and no possible apology could dismiss them.

The status updates have been running for quite some time now without issue, and we would like to continue that, however when we have to step in we will do so. The status updates are not free from rules and guidelines, so please post accordingly.

I would like to point out that Sam Spider brought this post back to life, thank you Sam. This is a place to let the banners know how you feel about Rosie getting banned...but don't get banned yourself.

 

Ugh.. there will always be people in this world who think every thing is directed at / about them, therefore they will take offense when no offense was intended. This is the world we live in, unfortunately it may be easier to punish the offender than tell the person making a stink to grow the fawk up, and welcome them to the internet.

I work in a mental hospital and this is the shit that we deal with EVERY DAY. So to you Axis II cluster B world annoyances that thrive on attention and feel it is necessary to let the world know when they should unnecessarily take pity on you, know that there is a place and a diagnosis for you in every major city.

This is a generic statement, and probably ignorant of the actual subject at hand, as I do not know what was said to ban Rosario. However, someone somewhere took offense to something he said, otherwise we wouldn't be here. So I stand by my statement.

S2k has lost value with the loss of this member. Not blaming the moderators as their hands are probably tied in the situation. But to those responsible, good job, more people are offended at this loss than were with the original comments.

I believe a suspension would've been more appropriate than a ban. I was never personally offended by anything Rosario said, but then again I'm not easily offended. He was just a joking kind of guy, and I believe more people appreciated that than those who didn't. We're adults here and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, in fact many of us pay money to be able to post said opinion. I'm sure Rosario didn't mean to offend anyone with his posts. I vote for a Democracy ruling on this matter. We do have polls available, I think this is a prime excuse to use one.

 

Its because the act of "Administration" is to cater to the victims and instead of letting a mature forum rule itself, we need to cater to those who come looking to find offensive material.
