Lots of truth in this post...Rosie meant no harm, he should be given a second chance even though he was warned on multiple occasions. Our hyper sensitive society cant tell when people are joking...mainly because of fear. We teach our kids to play sports and not keep score so we don't embarrass or offend the losers. Losing is the best thing you can experience if you want to win!

I suggest we put the ban to a vote as well as change the policy. We will ban the swindlers, cheats and stupid idiots who have no business on the site. We will keep the individuals who enhance the site. Vote we want to vote!

 

I take one day off from logging on and I miss something it happens every time like clock work. Although I understand the right of free speech trust me I'm all on board with that, but Rosario got what he deserved if it was bad enough to get banned for. Status updates here on s2ki imo are to circle around the car, your projects, your home life, meets, parts you bought, etc etc. THIS IS NOT FACEBOOK...he got warned before a few times. And he chose to disregard those lenient warnings. He should of posted it in the back lot section

 

What I don't understand is, we have a forum dedicated to porn, which users are free to choose whether to view or not, just like the status updates, the user is free to choose to view them, so why censor or ban what is stated?

I won't deny that I, one time, did mention something to an admin about one of his status updates being racist, and it was deleted. In hindsight perhaps I shouldn't have, but racism is another topic all together and at the time I felt it was crossing the line and was an actual update, not a comment (which people cannot automatically see).

 

I saw the comment as well, and granted poor choice of words. However, there was a clear intent of humor rather than trying to insult or offend.

To the contrary of what was said above, the forums are the place for car talk etc. the status bars allow people the freedom to discuss and talk about anything and everything. Sometimes you run into situations where something may seem harmless in your mind but offend others, and with someone like Rosie who had a majority of the status updates, granted it would happen more often than the average member.
The status updates have always been prone to some snarky comments here and there and have been locked/deleted.

I don't see how one can put their foot down and abide by the rules when a member has clearly added more value than harm. This thread in its entirety is a statement to that.

I'm all for suspensions and necessary apologies etc, however banning a member permanently, especially one that is a main node in this communities web would do more harm in the long run than anything else.

I check this site daily as a lurker and never bother to log in unless I need to ask a question or message someone.
It's like clockwork: Read status updates for the lols, check S2000 talk, check classifieds, and like once in a blue moon check my regional section.

I'm pretty bothered that step 1 of my routine is taking an astronomical hit.

Rosie is/was/will be one of the prime reasons to justify daily checking of this forum. Frankly, at this point I could probably slide with checking it every other day now as I previously would not have thought twice of missing out to lurk one of the great status update conversations


Bring this cat back, He's got to have at least one more life left that even the slore's haven't taken.

We already know the direction admins of this site have taken, fascism and control. They would take reinstating Rosario and anyone else you petition for as a challenge to that power and control. Its not about good times and hanging with the boys around here. Ill stick to the FB groups with my money. Im sure if we make a move to boycott sponsors that will be the killing blow.

 

New member here about to join and feeling the same! I've not been for long here but Rosie was the reason I got hooked up!
