I mostly stick to the classics, but Karnivool is one of my all-time favorite bands. "Themata" is either my first or second favorite album of all time. They sell out giant arenas in Australia, but I got to see them at a basement club show, with maybe 50 people in attendance- awesome!
Porcupine Tree is one of my other favorites, but they might be a little too prog for the hardcore metal fans out there.
