Default Bushnell Radar Gun at Radio Shack

I just got the Bushnell radar gun at Radio Shack that's on sale for $100 ... it's early Christmas present for my car. This baby is way cool. The instructions say that it measures the speed of a car, up to 1,500 feet away and reports speeds from 10 to 200 MPH. It's supposed to be valid to +/- 1 MPH. You can shoot the road while driving and it shows a speed that is exactly the same as my GPS (a little slower than my speedometer) and it also lets you measure the difference in speed between your car and another car in line with you. No, I'm not working for Radio Shack or Bushnell. I just discovered this gadget and thought some of you speed-freaks might be interested. This sucker is so much fun, it makes me wanna be a cop.

I saw that radar gun too, and i do need my yellow box calibrated. I switch back and forth between wheels and they are just a tad different in diameter.

That sounds awsome. So the next time a cop pulls you over for speeding you can say, "well hey officer, I clocked you at 120MPH trying to keep up with me"

What I want to know is does it make radar detectors spaz out when you point it at one.

My GF's dad has a silver one with the exact same hubcaps that the cops generally have. Let's go!

Be careful with how much you "look" and "act" like cops. The real cops take a very dim view of this.

Besides, wouldn't it be better playing "brake light bingo" camp out at a park alongside a busy street tagging passing motorists and watching for the brake lights to come on.

It would make a great drinking game.
