Business Question
^^ I agree online retail has been overflowing with competition from huge compaines such as amazon and ebay. It would be hard to find a niche. It would be hard to find out what you would be able to sell online without competitive advantage such as lower prices, or different products. But good luck to you! You never know!

just about everything has already been thought of unless you come up with some kind of NEW product that hasn't been mass marketed yet.
Look at the zillions of ebay auctions that go with no bids... from books, wheels, necklaces, rings, shoes, pants, air compressors, cars, hotwheels, computers, baseball cards, etc...... there is almost nothing that is not sold on ebay that can be shipped conveniently. same with online stores in general....
You are competing against big players. I thought I would sell bike parts a while back. Hell the price I would pay for 100 bike tubes at a time was just barely below what BIKE NASHBAR sold them to the public for. they buy 50,000 at a time.
besides finding something unique (which it won't be unique for long because everyone else will hop all over it) you don't have many choices.
goodluck.

If you can find collectibles...that might be a good start.
Sell that crap they have at places like Hallmark. Those stores are always teeming with dippy broads spending way too much on useless stuff. Get it automated and sit back and count the cash!
