I apologize for this being a little off-topic in advance.

I bought my S2000 a week and a half ago and planned on it being my only car. However I do not want to rack the miles up on it so I am buying a 2nd car just to commute to work and back.

I have found a 93 Acura Integra. Anyone have any experience with the 93 and know if there are any major problems to be concerened with? The car seems to be in great shape and looks to be an excellent commuter.

Forget about getting another car, you bought it to drive it.

Believe me I do drive it!! I just don't want to leave it out in the sun all day and it would be practical to have another car! I also am buying a third car since my wife has a lease and is a little bit over so I thought she could use it some also to keep the miles down. Besides I have no place completely in the shade to park my car at work!

I can't tell you much about the Integra, but I think that most of us have a daily driver. I have to get another car myself in October when I lay my civic to rest.

I used to own a 93 LS 3dr, and it ran great. I had over 150k miles on it, kept it for 7 yrs, and it never once broke down on me. There were no problems with it at all. I think that since it was the last year of the gen 2 models, most of the bugs were already fixed.

Having said that, I can't imagine you would want to drive anything but your s2k. While my s2k was in the body shop, I had to troll around in a rental and man it was killing me. That car was so slow and ugly. I'm a commuter, so I put a grip of miles on my car. It doesn't bother me to put miles on my car. I'll probably keep this car for another 6 years, and then it's time to buy another sports car. I can't wait to see what'll be around then. The way I look at it, the more miles I put on my car, the closer I am to my next one.

I gave my 93 teg to my brother about a month ago right before my yellow s2k. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!! Mine was lowered with skunkworks, exhaust, wing, body kit and all. Loved it, nice car and reliable. I'm thinking the same way, I plan on buying a civic hatchback or so and using that for the winter while my s2k is pampered in the garage. Let me know if you have any questions about the teg.
