The car is wonderful. Very comfortable. All kinds of electronic gadgets. 10-speaker Bose stereo. Five driving modes: touring, wet, eco (four cylinders shut down and 30 mpg on the highway), sport, and track, each with different exhaust, steering, and suspension settings and different dash displays, including tach and speedo. I feel like a rock star. Everywhere I go, the car draws a crowd. People yell out their windows at me. 460 hp. I have to baby it until the 500 mile break in, but it goes 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and pulls 1.11 Gs on the skidpad.

There is a 4-6 month wait on orders from the factory. Kerbeck Chevrolet in Atlantic City, NJ is the largest Corvette dealership in the world: 90 in stock or in transit from the factory in Bowling Green, KY. I picked out the exact car I wanted when it was on a rail car somewhere between Bowling Green and Atlantic City. I arranged for my own shipping. A big transporter showed up at my house last Thursday. All of that took only 10 days, including bad weather in the East.
