These enormous arachnids reside in the Middle East and can grow to be as large as a dinner plate. They can run upwards of 25 mph (by soldiers that have tracked the speed with humvees since they runs in their shadows). These spiders are extremely aggressive predators - Their prey include other insects, birds, repitles, and mammals such as camels or human beings. They are called camel spiders because they climb onto the bellies of camels and eat through its stomach--because the spiders secrete anesthetics to numb the flesh, the camels don't notice until their intestines fall out. They make a screaming/squealing noise when they run, similar to the high pitched scream of a child. People have been known to wake up with ears or parts of their faces missing due to a camel spider attack at some point through the night.

I forgot to mention that they can jump up to 10 feet. It will jump on you and run up your back until it finds exposed flesh. If you're not wearing long pants, it'll go for your legs; otherwise it may have to go all the way up to your face. Its mouth opens four ways to become 4 very sharp fangs. It will dig into your face and rip the flesh clean off of your skull. The saliva also inhibits healing- when your face grows back it'll be hideously scarred.
