Default Can Anyone Help Me Out With Microsoft Excel

I was wondering if someone can teach me how to insert a formula for an entire column? So when I input a specific number like 55 in that column, it'd come out 57.89. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

open worksheet

in cell b1, type in your formula.... ie =a1*1.0525454 for your 55 and 57.89 example...

select/copy field b1 (ctrl-c) select/highlight column by right click column B header, then paste special, formula. all of column b should now be 0.

when you put a value in column A, corresponding B cell value will show your desired result.

You know when you take off your pants, and they end up around your ankles in a sitting position

actually i meant to say in a non ghetto/slang english term is: paste the formula in a selected column.

What you do to make the same formula constant in 1 particular cell is:
highlight the selected column to as many rows as you desire starting with the original line with the formula then hit CTRL D while the cells are selected
That fills down that formula through the highlighted columns. I dunno if that was what you need

if you have to get rid of the column A figures....

select all off the data values in column B and copy them (ctrl-C)

move over to column C

select edit, paste special, values, OK.

delete both column A and column B
