Can you check two VIN ?

First of, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the S2000 !
and I own a Civic

But I need a four seats car

I'm on the market for a VW GTI, and found two for sale in my area.
Could somebody check their VIN Codes to know if the previous owners had any problems with it.
