can you make the s2k faster as easily as an rx-7?
Hey, guys..still new to this forum. Just wondering whether simple bolt-ons make the s2k alot faster. I know simple mods to an rx-7 make a big difference, but then you have to deal with blowing motors.....anyone with any experience? Thanks.

Careful, careful with modding the 3rd gen RX-7's, unless money is no object of course

The 3rd gen REX is way easier to mod (and incidentally will stomp most every S2K on the planet with a single stage mod from Petit or PFS), but you can't get carried away without having the problem derryck eluded to. The S2K is plain and simply a bitch to make faster, unless you are full of cash (derryck again...lol), but once it's modded it should stay put together, but that is theory only, it is yet to be determined.
In direct answer to your query, the S2K is difficult to make notably faster unless you are serious about it (NOS, Supercharger, or the holy grail Turbocharger).
